SECUREX 2026 trade fair under the patronage of the Polish Chamber of Digital Broadcasting
We are pleased to announce that the Polish Chamber of Digital Broadcasting has become an industry patron of the upcoming SECUREX 2026 trade fair.
The Polish Chamber of Digital Broadcasting (PIRC) is the successor to the Satellite Industry Association (SFBS), an organization established in 2002. The Chamber brings together broadcasters and operators of satellite and terrestrial television, wireless Internet operators, suppliers and manufacturers of satellite and terrestrial television equipment, and service companies from across the country. The Polish Chamber of Digital Broadcasting participates in the work of the Sejm, the Polish government, and seminars and conferences on a wide range of issues related to radio, television, and the Internet, in particular the transition from analog to digital terrestrial television broadcasting and the implementation of wireless broadband Internet access. PIRC influences the shape of laws and regulations concerning new technical solutions, telecommunications infrastructure, copyright, and administrative solutions.
Mission
The statutory task of PIRC is to represent the economic and social interests of companies, influence the shaping of legislation, social and economic policy towards public authorities. The Chamber also submits proposals and opinions on economic policy to bodies with legislative initiative, and cooperates with other business organizations. In addition, PIRC organizes training courses, conducts research, provides economic consulting, prepares expert opinions on digital broadcasting, sponsors many events related to the telecommunications and media market, and engages in social activities aimed at supporting the process of computerization of society.
The Polish Chamber of Digital Broadcasting is managed by industry experts – representatives of companies that have been operating on the Polish market for many years. The PIRC also has an Advisory Board and cooperates on a permanent basis with law firms.
